Someone on BanksyInfo said that they are no more!

I took them around 16.30 and it was already dark and raining.

I went to see this in Kennington yesterday. I like Faile stuff a lot but i'm confused as to where they're coming from.

Great visually but I was disappointed that there was no info on Faile or their pieces whatsover.

Can somebody please tell me what Faile are doing that Blake, Hamilton, Lichtenstein and Warhol haven't done 40 years ag0 and why their prints command the price they do - is it simply supply and demand?

this isn't a dig, i'm genuinely interested.

Thanks

Well first off out of the artists or you listed none of them were street artists. What they did 40 years ago is what they did 40 years ago whereas what Faile is doing is happening right now.

Their prints command these prices because there is a market for street art and when it comes to street art its either Faile or Banksy.

You could have an iconic signed image of 150 or a beautifully hand finished varied edition of 10. Both great pieces of art that ultimately are determined by supply and demand.

I will say though in relation to those artists you mentioned Faile does border the pop art line closer than Banksy. Particularly when they crop their comic book images.

Also in Faile features in this episode of Blast (starts around 45th min):

Hey Ambrosiabaptism,

I have a spare flyer but not the price list.
Flyer has an image of the Red Indian girl in an agony/ecstasy pose.
Postcard size.
The flyer with a price list was a bit bigger and the image is of the Great Leap of Faile.
PM me if interested.

Thank you very much for your generosity :D

No need to say you have PM ;)

I would still like a price list if anyone would be so kind.
