Butterfly Girl Blue & Orange

Varied Edition of 15
Hand painted / Silkscreen
Mixed media work on paper.
Lenox 100 Paper.
Dimensions: 38 x 50 Inches.
Signed and Stamped
By Faile. 2003

Butterfly Girl Blue & Orange is from a varied edition of 15 prints, created in 2003. This edition of prints features individually hand-painted backgrounds. No two prints are the same. We have a few of this edition left in the archive. Must say the photo here does the print no justice, it is a large (3ft by 4ft), tight print on a nice white paper stock.

I always thought this edition was clean and not as varied but noticed this the other night. Check out the use of different colored paints in the flowers. :o

That would make sense, once I posted my pic I noticed the violet paint appears darker than it is in person. Well at least there's never dull moment when posting these babies. ;)

yeah, mine is a little closer to the others in person - not quite as violet, more pink.. I'm pretty sure they're all the same pretty much..

I have a lovely Static that would look pukka in that spot of yours, ltd ed of just 2!! None of this high runs of 12....how very common........I'll even add a bit of cash :)
At least I know at least a 3rd of these are up and being admired...also means that I get to see a lot of her too.
Back to the original Q tho', they all look pretty similar in colour unlike your pink and cream which would be one of the most varied I have seen.
More importantly tho, who do you thinks got the best butt? BFG or My Confessions?

Hey folks, quick question about the Captivating print, I saw one for sale that was dated 2003, but according to Expresso Beans the year of release was 2007, can anyone clear this up for me?
Thanks!
Ken.

Hi Ken, don't believe everything you read on EB.
Captivating print, along with the Bunny Girl and Mermaid, were released through POW at the end of 2003. Most of these signed prints would be signed Faile 2003. So there is a high probability that the print is genuine. As always check the paperwork and follow your instinct ;)

Next time ask your question (or anyone else) in this thread dedicated to such inquiries HERE
